How to transfer your pension

How to start the transfer process in 3 easy steps
Step 1

Submit the Fact Fact Finder Form on this website, print off the Letter of Authority

Sign and send it back to our office at:

Step 2

Once we receive your information we will send the relevant documents to the UK along with a request for information about your pension to New Zealand.
When we receive a written response from the UK we will contact you as further information might be required such as:

  • Confirmation of employment in New Zealand
  • Copy of P45
  • Copy of passport
Step 3

We will then set up your compliant New Zealand Superannuation Fund to enable your UK pension to be received in accordance with current legislation in the UK and New Zealand.

We have access to most product providers in New Zealand.

 

Confirmation Sent

When we receive your transfer from the UK you will be sent written confirmation detailing the financial transaction. We will also make a courtesy phone call to confirm all details and answer any questions you might have.

Is my money safe at all times?

The money is in a QROPS Trustees Scheme, so no time do we control it, you will therefore always have the right to your money. The rules that govern pension entitlements in both the UK and New Zealand are designed to protect your interests.
